Another in the series of Prairie Fire art quilts this Flint Hills scene portrays the beauty of a night time burn.  This practice of controlled burning insures that the grasslands continue to produce at their best!

Pieced with curved seaming from commercially printed cotton fabrics and free motion machine quilted using a variety of threads to enhance the scene and the fabrics.
