Machine pieced, machine quilted, commercially printed cotton fabrics, various threads. Hand embellished with beads, Tyvek, shells and driftwood picked up on the beach at Galveston, TX.
This piece holds memories of a day on the beach at Galveston, picking up the shells and fragments to embellish a special wall hanging. Many different beads and threads add the sparkle of sun and surf.
